TCW Varsity and Junior Varsity Coaching Staff
The Tomball Christian Warriors are blessed to have multiple coaches who have played football at the collegiate level at major D1 universities, as well as professionally in the NFL.
They bring a unique perspective to high school coaching with a focus on all areas of building Godly young men: body, mind and spirit.
Coach Criswell has a B.S. from Texas Tech in Human Development and Family Studies and an M. Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary. His professional career has included the following: 14 years as missionary, pastor, and church planter; 10 years in Residential and Oil and Gas Construction Sales and Marketing; he has been teaching and running his remodeling construction business Since 2015.
Coach Criswell serves as the Varsity Head Coach for the Tomball Christian Warrior Football Team. Chris has been married to his wife Andrea for over 25 years and is the father of four children, ages 13-19, who have all been homeschooled. Their philosophy in homeschooling is that their most important calling as parents is to disciple their children to follow Christ in all things. Their education is just part of the overall picture of character training and preparing to live a life to glorify God. In 2009, the Criswell family started a home church that has multiplied into two home churches in the community with about thirty families.
Coach Criswell is passionate about making holy wild men, coaching the young man first, then the player. He believes football is the perfect setting for developing heart, passion, courage, dedication and the fire it takes to be a real man who effectively stands for Christ in this world.
