Football Recap: Tomball Christian Homeschool Takes a Tough Playoff Loss
It’s hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tomball Christian HomeSchool can now relate to. They received a blow on Saturday as they fell 22-7 to the Christ Prep Academy Patriots. The Warriors were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than 31 points in the three matchups prior), but the Patriots’ defense proved too tough.

Tomball Christian HomeSchool didn’t go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Zephaniah Villagomez. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 11.
Christ Prep Academy’s win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Timothy Edwards, who rushed for 115 yards. Seth Regan made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Tomball Christian HomeSchool now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Christ Prep Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
As of now, neither Tomball Christian HomeSchool nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
