Coach Gordon has a B.A. from McNeese State University in Liberal Arts. He was a 4-year starter on their football team and earned All Southland Conference honors as the Cowboy’s center. For the years he was at McNeese, they won the Southland Conference (1997 & 2001) and was part of the 1997 FCS National Championship Runner-up football team. Coach Gordon also spent some time in the Semi-Pro Circuit and played for the Woodlands Warriors semi-professional football team as an offensive lineman. He has spent the past 20 years in the Oil and Gas business, and currently serves on the Board of Deacons at his church in Spring, TX.
Coach Gordon has been involved with the TCW organization since 2015 in various coaching positions for varsity and junior high. The 2022 season will be Coach Gordon’s first role as head coach. He is extremely experienced in the game of football and being a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is encouraged about the direction the TCW organization is headed to develop Godly young men as they learn to overcome adversity in the game he has been involved with since the age of 8. Coach Gordon is married and has four children. His two middle children are both homeschooled and both are a vibrant part of the TCW athletic program.
Coach Gordon is extremely motivated and competitive. He brings a vast amount of football and coaching knowledge to the organization, hunger for the things of God and willingness to develop coachable young men so they can become employable adults with bold faith and a strong teamwork mindset.
