The Tomball Christian HomeSchool Warriors will head out to challenge the Acadiana Christian Defenders at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tomball Christian HomeSchool has four straight victories, Acadiana Christian has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you’re on the field.

Tomball Christian HomeSchool gave up the first points last Friday, but they didn’t let that get them down. They were the clear victor by a 34-10 margin over Brook Hill. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won six matchups by 23 points or more so far this season.

Tomball Christian HomeSchool was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 258 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they’ve now rushed for at least 159 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Acadiana Christian scored the most points they’ve had all season two weeks ago, but it wasn’t enough. They lost 56-33 to Northside Lions Sports Association. Even if the Defenders couldn’t come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Tomball Christian HomeSchool pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Acadiana Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything came up roses for Tomball Christian HomeSchool against Acadiana Christian when the teams last played back in September of 2023, as the team secured a 52-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tomball Christian HomeSchool since the squad won’t have the home-field advantage this time around. We’ll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
