TCW Varsity Schedule:

The Tomball Christian Warriors are coming off of their National Runner up season with some unfinished business in mind. This year’s schedule brings some familiar teams back on the schedule while adding some of the Local Area’s Top Teams into the mix. Poised to try and make it back into the National Championship bracket, we have several of the Nations Top Homeschool programs added to the schedule. The Warrior season starts with two scrimmages to get the team tuned up for the regular season.

8/13 Scrimmage at Hitchcock

The Warriors travel once again to scrimmage the Hitchcock High School Bulldogs. The Bulldogs finished their season with .500 record and boast a strong run defense. New this year will be the addition of the Sweeny Bulldogs team for a 3 team scrimmage. Sweeny brings back senior 1000+ passer, Trace Holmes and 1000+ rusher, Xavier Woods.

8/20 Scrimmage at The Village High School / KIPP Generations

The Tomball Christian Warriors take on the The Village Vikings and Kipp Generations Jaguars in their Final Scrimmage before the regular season.
The Vikings are coming off an undefeated short season and The Jaguars are looking to play football in the first time since the 2019/2020 Season.

8/28 Regular Season Opener at Houston Yates

Our regular season opener sends the Warriors to the take on the Yates Lions.  The Lions are coming off of a 4-3 record with a formidable dual threat offense. Though several starters have graduated, their team speed on both side of the ball will be a formidable threat for the Warriors. Every yard will have to be earned in this one. And turnovers could be the difference.

9/3 @KIPP Northeast

After not playing last season, the Gators are looking to make a run as the best of the KIPP charter schools. Look for the Warriors Defense to make an early statement.

9/10 @DASCHE

The DASCHE Spartans made it into the Division 3 Champions bracket of the NHFA Tournament last season vs the OKC Patriots. They’re looking for a big win against our Warriors to get their team moved up into the National Rankings.

9/17 Home Opener vs ProVision Academy

Two years ago ProVision defeated TCW with a final score of 27-21. Charles Langston hopes to improve on his 100+ Rushing yards. But our defensive line and linebacking corp are ready for the challenge. Watch our high powered offense in action in this classic matchup.

9/25 Lighthouse Christian Academy

We’re headed back to Atoka, OK where we will face Lighthouse Christian Academy again. Lighthouse Christian was the number 2 Ranked Team for the national tournament. They lost to eventual champion Georgia Force in the semi-final. They return most of their offense that defeated our Warriors in double OT with a score of 48-45. Look for the Warriors to come out fast and strong for this one.

10/1 vs Brazos Christian Academy

This year the Eagles travel to the Farm league hoping to win again after the Warriors were unable to tie it up in the final seconds of a 32-30 win vs our Warriors. A couple of costly penalties in the game prevented the Warriors from securing this win. With a mantra of unfinished business, look for a little edge here for the Warriors.

10/9 vs Nike Dallas

Nike Dallas was the Texas State Homeschool champion even though our Warriors beat them the day before. Expect them to come out with their best for this game after losing to the warriors 15-12. This team is always filled with some of Dallas’ best athletes. This could be a preview matchup to this year’s state championship.Expect them to also join the Warriors in Panama City Beach for the national tournament.

10/15 BYE Week

10/22 @ Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy

The Lions come off a 4-3 season and boast one of Houston’s Top Area quarterbacks in Senior Tyler Prazak who threw for 15 touchdowns while running for another 5 last season. Chapman Wendell brings his 54 tackles from the middle linebacker position.

10/29 Homecoming vs Rosehill Christian Academy

The Eagles finished their season as District Champions and a strong playoff win against Lutheran North. The Warriors defeated them last year for the Rose Bowl trophy, so look for them to try and defeat us during homecoming.

11/5-6 Texas State Homeschool Championships

In what could have been a state championship last year, the Warriors found themselves on the outside looking in after defeating eventual champion Nike Dallas. Add this tournament to the list of unfinished business for the Warriors.

11/18-20 NHFA Championship

Championship Season Lose by 3 with  52 seconds left. Last year wasn’t meant to be. Let’s make it back and focus on the task at hand one game at a time.
