The Tomball Christian Warrior will head out on the road to square off against the Houston Christian Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tomball Christian HomeSchool is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they’ve averaged 27.8 points per game this season.

Tomball Christian HomeSchool took a loss when they played away from home back in September, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Fort Bend Christian Academy a 24-0 shutout. Given the Warriors’ advantage in MaxPreps’ Texas football rankings (they are ranked 310th, while the Eagles are ranked 623rd), the result wasn’t entirely unexpected.

Tomball Christian HomeSchool didn’t go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Bryson Zbylot led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself.

Meanwhile, Houston Christian entered their tilt with Trinity Valley on Friday with three consecutive wins but they’ll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 20-10 win over the Trojans.

Tomball Christian HomeSchool’s record now sits at 4-1. As for Houston Christian, their record is now 4-2.

Tomball Christian HomeSchool didn’t have too much breathing room in their match against Houston Christian when the teams last played back in September of 2020, but they still walked away with a 27-21 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tomball Christian HomeSchool since the team won’t have the home-field advantage this time around. We’ll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
