Tomball Christian  had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Competing at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys at the Homeschool Football Classic, they never let the Atlas HomeSchool Rattlers onto the board and left with a 23-0 win on Friday. The score was close at the half, but the Warriors pulled away in the second half with 21 points.

Caden Alderson threw for 96 yards on seven of 14 attempts. Luke Harrison was his top target, picking up 74 receiving yards. On the ground, Owen Wilkins picked up two sacks and made four total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Tomball Christian HomeSchool will have plenty of time to enjoy the victory as they don’t play again for a while. They’ll take on KIPP Sunnyside at 7:00 p.m. on September 6th. As for Atlas HomeSchool, they will square off against Cross Roads at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
